Strength & Balance

Strength & Balance Class is a seated exercise class for the older adult, with then intention of improving balance to prevent falling. 

 

Many of our clients have health conditions, joint replacements and take medication. We are experienced in helping participants achieve health goals through exercise. 

Strengthening exercises is essential in build strength in both muscles and bone density.

Strength & Balance is appropriate safe and effective for the older adult in building confidence as well as fitness.

Resistance bands are used to strengthen muscles and bone density. Standing balance exercises and Tai Chi build confidence in balance and enable calmness.

The first class is free to participants. This is to make sure you enjoy the class and it is appropriate for you.

To keep you motivated to come along and get the health benefits of exercise more quickly our monthly payment makes it easier to come to class.
Please download the Health Questionnaire and complete it before coming to class. You are most welcome to come along to class anytime.

Wednesday 12:00-1:00pm: Mannofield church, Aberdeen AB10 6WD

Thursday 11:00am-12:00pm: The Hub, Cults Parish Church, AB15 9TD
